Nate Bargatze - Goal #5 completed

I like comedians. I mean, who doesn't? Okay, someone out there probably doesn't at all, but I enjoy laughing. Even better is finding clean comedians. That feels a little trickier. I found Nate Bargatze several years ago on Netflix. I'm sure many people have found him through Netflix. He is hilarious and clean. 

Once again, I told myself that I would see him in person one day. This is feeling like a theme for my life. I discover something I want to try out, tell myself one day it will happen, and then let it sit in the back of my mind till it dies. I'm breaking down that pattern, and I'm doing things!

In September of 2023, Matt and I went to see Nate Bargatze in Salt Lake City. We drove down there in time to get checked into our hotel, and then we went to a nearby mall for some dinner. We didn't know that the mall was practically a ghost town. It was weird. We've been to that mall many times and it's always been busy, but not this time. There was only one restaurant open, and a huge line of all the other people with the same idea as us. 

Matt stood in line for quite a while, while I rested my feet. After a bit, we decided to give up on it because the doors were opening. We left the restaurant and went to the event center. Just our luck, they sold food there, so we got some to eat before the show started.

It was such a fun show! It was fun to watch him in person. It felt unreal that I was actually doing one of these things I wanted to do! like, actually doing it and not thinking about it! total win! We laughed like crazy and enjoyed the evening immensely. 

We spent the night in Utah and came home the next day. I'm so glad we did it. I loved all of it. I look forward to finding more clean comedians to enjoy.
