Last week we celebrated five wonderful years of being married! It was so much fun! we spent a night at black swan inn [LOVE that place!] and then the next night we went camping.
Our camping trip started out uneventful and I was even ready to go home before bedtime [I'm not the biggest camper] the bugs started attacking so we went to our tent to escape the little pests and we fell asleep around 9:30 - we never go to bed that early at home!
I woke up at 11:00 or so and needed to use the bathroom and was searching in the dark for my tennis shoes when we started hearing explosions! It scared us both. You could see an orange glow through our tent. I got out of the tent and here is what we saw!
This was the people next to us! their camper started on fire. we saw it and our first reaction was to get out of there! There were so many explosions! Matt walked over there and talked with some people but didn't really find out much. Some policemen and a firetruck came and put the fire out. We never did hear about how it got started.
We ended up staying the entire night. they kind of blocked the exit so we stayed put and by the time the fire was out we were both so tired and didn't feel like packing stuff up.
The next morning we got up, packed our stuff up and left! I was done!

It was quite the experience that I'm actually okay not experiencing again in my whole life! it was scary and made me grateful for all the rain and snow we've had this year! I never knew how grateful I'd be!

Wow! What an adventure! Seriously sounds scary! I saw your parents with your dogs at Alameda park the night you stayed at Black Swan. They are great babysitters! Happy Anniversary!
